I did not find it immediately apparent that this ONLY affects the desktop plugin and ONLY if you're using both premium features simultaneously. It was far to easy to misinterpret their announcement as "we're charging for Flash now" and easy misinterpretations quickly become the general populace's fact. Basically, Adobe shot themselves in the foot with their ham-handed PR approach and the Flash ecosystem as a whole will be damaged by the announcement. I think the problem is not so much Adobe’s approach as they way they presented it.
