we took some homework with us…

June 6, 2008 by Carlo Matic

Dear FDT Friends,

as I have been to NYC and Toronto with Nico, spreading the good word of FDT out, we had a lot of contact with developers (Hi to all of you) and got also a lot of feedback for FDT. To be honest, we were impressed how many coders in the States code on a Mac! So we took some homework back to Germany to improve the workflows with FDT and Mac. We promised to fix it soon, and here it is:

The newest version of FDT, namely 3.0.7, comes with the following:

many OS X workflow optimizations (e.g. whitespaces in paths, dynamic ActionScript help etc.)
External SWF Player now for OS X (yes, we have finally done it)
New ANT Tasks for compiling, debugging an more.

So, try it out and let us know what you think about it!!

Cheers,

Frank Piotraschke
