SOS max released

SOS max

After many years, we finally release a new version of SOS, called “SOS max”. For all of you who don’t already know the “Socket Output Server”: It’s a smart and resource-saving tool for logging purposes outside the Flash IDE. Level-organized logging and fully customizable color highlighting are just some of the features the new SOS brings along.

Here comes the best: It’s totally free and platform independent!

Christopher

Hey, this is really great news!
I love to work with SOS at work, and i couldnt trace the calls in my swf files on my mac at home, since they were SOS traces.

I asked carlo about a mac version at the FITC, and he announced SOS max.

Really really great work. Keep it up. :)
    Thanks.

Yay! I was wondering if it would ever get a replacement!

I too have a super easy AS3 library to talk to SOS, it overrides the built in trace, so it’s pretty transparent. I cover it in on my blog
