What is FDT?
FDT is a plug-in which boosts the already mighty open-source platform Eclipse and turns it into a powerful development environment for serious Flash and ActionScript coding.
What can FDT do?
With FDT both - Mac and Windows users - benefit from features for almost every task. Here are some examples: a customizable formatter keeps the code clean and well structured, code completion speeds up your work, error highlighting and quick fixes are available without compiling, refactoring helps you e.g. to easily rename files. FDT integrates the Flex SDK Debugger into the Eclipse Debug Perspective. This allows you debugging ways as you know them from JDT and Flex Builder.
