As announced last week, FDT 5 will not only gain features but improve in many ways.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Last Monday<\/a> we told you about the new structure of editions, which is going to be freemium. This means we will simply have two editions – FDT 5 Free and FDT 5 Max.<\/p>\n

Many of you have already asked: “What is the upgrade to FDT 5 Max going to cost me?” We tried to keep the answer to this question as simple and transparent as possible:<\/p>\n

Upgrade from…<\/p>\n

FDT 4 Max: 49\u20ac \/ $59
\nFDT 4 Plus or Pure: 99\u20ac \/ $129
\nFDT 3 all editions: 199\u20ac \/ $249<\/p>\n

The full version of FDT Max is 499\u20ac \/ 599$ and FDT Free is available for free. Everyone who purchased FDT 4 Max on August 1, 2011 or later is eligible for a free upgrade to FDT 5 Max. Note that you don’t have to wait until the final release of FDT 5 to benefit from lower prices; there’s already a 20% discount on FDT 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
