Beginning with FDT 5.5, subscriptions and a new license management system has been put into place. Our customers have asked us to implement a more flexible way of using and purchasing FDT and this is a great solution that works for everyone.
In the course of using this new system to validate your FDT license, there might come a time when you receive an error message that just doesn't seem like it should be there. In this case, read through this short FAQ and if your issue persists, contact us.
Could not connect to server. You may not be connected to the internet or behind a firewall. Please try again later.
Communication with License Server failed. You may not be connected to the internet or behind a firewall. Please try again later.
In these cases, FDT was unable to connect to the license server during the activation process. It's likely that HTTP requests on port 80 to fckgw.powerflasher.com are blocked. Check your firewall settings. If it still persists contact support.
License/Activation for FDT has expired. Contact sales to renew.
If you see this, you probably either have a subscription which was canceled or the license was a time limited promo offer.
