Ever since he got his first computer 26 years ago (a Commodore 64), Claus Wahlers has been passionate about programming.

Amongst many other things, he wrote firmware for microprocessor based industrial devices, homebanking software for teletext systems, a browser rendering engine in ActionScript 1, and, more recently, a Commodore 64 emulator in ActionScript 3.

Today, Claus joined the Powerflasher team and is working on a super secret project for one of our North American clients, very well suited for a Flash Hero like Claus!

Whenever Claus finds some free time, he is hacking away on his latest open source project as3swf, which parses/publishes SWF, exports embedded vector shapes to other formats like iPhone (Objective-C), Flex 4 (FXG) or HTML5 Canvas (Javascript) and much more. Certainly something to keep an eye on!

Please welcome Claus to the Powerflasher Team!
